01 · Overview

Where it is & what it feels like

Mueller is a master-planned community on the 700-acre site of the former Robert Mueller Municipal Airport, which closed in 1999. Development started in 2007, and when it's finished it's planned to have about 5,700 homes and 13,000 residents.

It's designed to be walkable: homes with front porches and alley garages, 12 parks and more than 12 miles of trails, Mueller Lake Park, H-E-B, the Alamo Drafthouse, the Thinkery children's museum and Dell Children's Medical Center, all in one neighborhood.
