01 · Overview

Where it is & what it feels like

Travis Heights is bounded by South Congress Avenue to the west, I-35 to the east, Lady Bird Lake to the north and East Oltorf Street to the south. It's one of Austin's classic early-1900s neighborhoods, with winding streets that follow Blunn Creek through Stacy Park.

The area's popularity grew with South Congress: you can walk to the shops, the Continental Club and Home Slice Pizza, then come home to a quiet, shaded street. Historic bungalows sit next to modern new builds.
