Where it is & what it feels like
Pflugerville is a city of about 68,000 people just northeast of Austin, between I-35, SH 130 and SH 45. It grew from a small German farming town into one of the metro's most popular suburbs, and its historic downtown still hosts Deutschen Pfest, a festival that has run for about 50 years.
Neighborhoods range from established communities like Avalon and Highland Park to master-planned Falcon Pointe and new construction in The Trails at Carmel. Prices have softened in 2026, which gives buyers more room to negotiate.
